How to Extract in SAND: Raiders of Sophie

Last updated: June 27, 2026

To extract, reach a designated extraction point and complete the exit while staying alive. As an extraction shooter, you only keep the loot you've gathered if you get out — die before you extract and you lose what you were carrying. Plan your exit before you're overloaded or low on health.

How extraction works

SAND: Raiders of Sophie is a PvPvE extraction game built around your Trampler — the walking mech fortress you pilot across the sands. A run loosely goes like this:

  1. Deploy into a zone with your crew and Trampler.
  2. Raid points of interest for loot, resources and gear.
  3. Survive rival crews and environmental threats.
  4. Extract at a valid exit point to bank everything you collected.

The tension is the same as other extraction shooters: the longer you stay, the more you can grab — but the higher the chance another crew wipes you and takes it all.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I die before extracting?
You lose the loot you were carrying for that run — the core risk of an extraction shooter.
Can I extract solo?
Yes, but it's harder. A crew makes holding extraction points much easier.
What is the Trampler?
It's your buildable, pilotable walking mech fortress — part vehicle, part mobile base.
