How to Extract in SAND: Raiders of Sophie
Last updated: June 27, 2026
To extract, reach a designated extraction point and complete the exit while staying alive. As an extraction shooter, you only keep the loot you've gathered if you get out — die before you extract and you lose what you were carrying. Plan your exit before you're overloaded or low on health.

How extraction works
SAND: Raiders of Sophie is a PvPvE extraction game built around your Trampler — the walking mech fortress you pilot across the sands. A run loosely goes like this:
- Deploy into a zone with your crew and Trampler.
- Raid points of interest for loot, resources and gear.
- Survive rival crews and environmental threats.
- Extract at a valid exit point to bank everything you collected.
The tension is the same as other extraction shooters: the longer you stay, the more you can grab — but the higher the chance another crew wipes you and takes it all.
Beginner tips to actually keep your loot
- Know your exit early. Identify extraction points as soon as you land so you're never scrambling.
- Don't get greedy. Extracting with a modest haul beats dying with a full load. Bank often.
- Use the Trampler as a mobile base. It's your fortress — position it for cover, repairs and a fallback point.
- Watch your health and resources. Once you're low, start heading to extraction instead of pushing fights.
- Play with a crew. Coordinated teams control extraction zones far more reliably than solos.
- Listen. Audio cues from rival crews and their machines often warn you before you see them.
